Keith Lemire, O.D.
Dr. Lemire has been practicing advanced optometric care for more than 25 years. Dr. Lemire received his first Bachelor of Science Degree from Wilkes College in 1991 and received his Doctorate of Optometry, along with a second Bachelor of Science Degree, from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1995. He completed his internship at the PCO Eye Institute in Philadelphia and his externship at the Newington Veterans Affairs Hospital. He has been an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists.
He provides quality optometric eye care with an emphasis on comprehensive eye examinations, the diagnosis and treatment of medical eye diseases including glaucoma, and specialty contact lens fittings, including fittings for keratoconus.
Dr. Lemire has been an active member of the Lions Club International Association and is a past district governor. He is a past President of the Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation. Dr. Lemire volunteers his optometric services within the community, having provided more than 200 adult, pediatric, and veteran eye screenings. He also provides eye care pro bono for those who qualify for any local Lions Club Visual Outreach Assistance Programs.
Dr.Lemire is a native of Connecticut and lives in Groton. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, spending time outdoors and he is active within his church community.
