Shoreline Eye Group would like to thank all of you for your patience during this unprecedented time. We would also like to announce that the office is now open for non-emergent care, and if your appointment was affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our office staff is working to contact you to reschedule.
With that being said, appointments at Shoreline Eye Group will look a bit different. We have taken guidance from the American Academy of Ophthalmology and have put numerous protocols in place to ensure the safety of both our patients and staff. Appointment times will be staggered, and extra time will be allotted to allow for the new protocols, which might mean that you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
Before your appointment our office staff will contact you to go over a few screening questions. Once you arrive for your appointment we ask that you stay in your vehicle, call the office to check-in, and then put on your face mask or covering. A staff member will come to your car, check your temperature and ask you to sign a consent form. A technician will then call you to take your medical history over the phone. Once that is complete, you will meet the technician at the front door, where you will be given hand sanitizer, be brought to an exam room, and your exam will begin. All patients and every office staff member is required to wear a face mask at all times.
