She stayed in Philadelphia for her residency at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital and her fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery. After working in Manhattan for the last six years, Dr. Nipper is returning to Connecticut where she grew up and where her family resides.
As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Nipper specializes in both medical and surgical diseases of the eye including cataract surgery, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease. As an oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Nipper performs procedures to reconstruct and refresh the external areas around the eyes. In the office she has been treating cosmetic issues with Botox, Juvederm, Restylane, chemical peels, and facial products. In the operating room she performs a wide variety of surgeries with the most common being “droopy eyelids”. The field of cosmetic treatment and surgery changes daily, and Dr. Nipper can help you understand what treatments will work best for you.
Most importantly, Dr. Nipper will treat you as if you were a family member. She believes the doctor-patient relationship is the most crucial aspect of patient care.
